My career in aesthetics began at the age of 21 when I transitioned from my hometown of Flagstaff, Arizona, to Scottsdale. It was here that my passion for permanent makeup and aesthetics evolved in earnest. My initial experience was gained in a plastic surgeon’s office, where I worked as both a medical aesthetician and an assistant. My journey into permanent makeup commenced during my aesthetics education and flourished through my work in medical aesthetics, focusing on result-oriented services such as medical-depth peels and injectables.

A pivotal moment came when my supervising physician encouraged me to explore permanent makeup and offered to fund my training. This invaluable opportunity enabled me to discover my true calling. My early focus was on paramedical tattooing, a specialized area in the field. Unlike most artists who begin with cosmetic permanent makeup before progressing to paramedical applications, I took a reverse approach, akin to advancing from reconstructive artistry to beauty enhancement.

In 2013, I introduced an innovative saline removal system for correcting botched permanent makeup, which garnered recognition through PR Web. Furthermore, I established a Southern Nevada Health District-approved permanent makeup academy in Las Vegas, where I have been mentoring future artists for over 15 years. Our comprehensive six-month program covers all aspects of permanent makeup, ranging from anatomy to advanced techniques, ensuring that our students receive thorough training without shortcuts.

After relocating to Las Vegas in 2003 from Scottsdale, I began my career in a medical spa owned by Dr. Robert Toledo, an OB/GYN. I subsequently transitioned to establishing my own medical spa, where I provided an array of aesthetic and beauty treatments, with a particular focus on permanent cosmetics. My expertise in paramedical tattooing has led to referrals from several leading board-certified plastic surgeons.

During my time managing the spa, I recognized the challenges of balancing business demands with the pursuit of personal advancement in my permanent makeup skills. This realization prompted me to sell my practice and focus exclusively on my passion for permanent makeup through my academy and clinic, allowing for dedicated growth in this specialized field.

Expanding My Reach in the Community

Currently, I am honored to serve as the preferred paramedical tattoo artist for some of Las Vegas’ top plastic surgeons. While I continue to practice in Las Vegas, I have recently expanded my services to other communities, a move that has been immensely rewarding.

In 2020, I made a lifestyle change by investing in a sustainable farm outside of Las Vegas, embracing a more fulfilling and simpler way of living. My commitment to serving my clients remains steadfast, and I am dedicated to bringing my high-integrity permanent makeup services to the community in 2025, finding warmth and acceptance in my new endeavor.
